California State Licensing Examination Rates

As a current or new student at Butte College, you should be fully informed about the educational opportunities available here and the programs offered. Much information is available in the Butte College Catalog for each program and from the various instructional and service departments. You also have the right to specific consumer information. Per California Assembly Bill (AB) 2086, the following information is made available to provide access to California license examination passage rates for graduates of Butte College programs that require California licensure. Data will continue to be updated as California licensing and/or regulatory agencies make the data electronically available.


Financial Aid

Several types of financial aid are available to students, including grants, loans, Work-Study, and scholarships. Awarding of funds is based on financial need and the amount of funds available. For more information, scroll options on Types of Aid and How to Apply menus.


State Licensing Exam Passage Rates

View the links available for the programs listed below. Only those programs that offer a Certificate of Achievement or Associate degree are eligible for financial aid.

AS Degree and Certificate of Achievement in Building Inspection Technology, both designed to prepare students for entry-level jobs in the building inspection profession. See:

Certificate of Achievement designed to prepare students for state certification as a Nursing Assistant (National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP). See:

AS Degree in Cosmetology designed to meet the State of California Cosmetology Act. See:

AS Degree and Certificate of Achievement in EMT-Paramedic, both designed to prepare students to become licensed paramedics in California.

AS Degree and Certificate of Achievement, both in Early Childhood Education to prepare for California Community Care Licensing. See:

AS Degree and Certificate of Achievement, both in Licensed Vocational Nursing, designed to prepare students for licensure. See:

AS Degree in Registered Nursing prepares students for licensure as an RN at the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) level.

AS Degree and Certificate of Achievement, both in Registered Nursing: LVN to ADN, designed to prepare students for licensure as RNs at the ADN level.

AS Degree and Certificate of Achievement, both in Respiratory Care, designed to prepare students to become licensed Respiratory Care Practitioners in California.
